Commonwealth Landscape Lighting has installed low voltage lighting at the Old Manse in Concord, MA
This historic site bore witness to the start of the American Revolution and was home to both Ralph Waldo Emerson and Nathaniel Hawthorne.
Having secured permission from the Concord Historical Commission, down lighting from trees along the entry path will provide subtle yet effective traverse lighting. This will solve two of the key issues presented to us at our initial meeting with the Trustees of Reservations; event lighting and staff safety. Guests will now be able to wander the grounds freely without being blinded by temporary tripod lighting or tripping over extension cords. Both the Old Manse and event staff will now have safe passage to their vehicles at the end of the day without the abrasiveness of commercial parking lot lighting.
